When I founded Redtopia Software, I focused my efforts on building a powerful, customizable, and easy-to-use application web application framework with full content management capabilities that I could use to rapidly deploy web sites that scale. The result is what I call the Redtopia Content Management System (RCMS), which I have used in the majority of my projects since 2000. I was the first consultant in the Jackson Hole area to offer this type of solution, and over the years I have continued to maintain and fine tune it.

Over the past several years, especially since starting the MusicLessons.com project, my professional focus has shifted from backend database and app development to front-end development (in the browser) using jQuery, HTML and CSS, and libraries like Bootstrap, Modernizr, jQuery UI, and Hammer (touch support). I am continually impressed at the rapid pace of advances in front-end technologies, especially when it comes to mobile content delivery.
